The company Remoundo was founded in 1948. It was the first company in Greece to specialise on board games and educational games. Griniaris, Fidaki and Tombola were three of the most iconic games introduced to the Greek public.

In the 1970s, the company released the Board Game ‘Do You Happen to Know?’ in collaboration with the host of the TV show Icarus, and based on a famous TV quiz show. The company created many other board games involving TV personalities. One of its biggest hits was “Titanic”, inspired by the eponymous blockbuster movie. In the game, players had to save those who were shipwrecked.

In Remoundo games classic meets contemporary. The games bring together different generations. The company has also created adaptations of popular traditional games such as Moutzouris, Blind Fly, Stone Scissors Pencil Paper. People who played Remoundo games as children in the 1950s and 1960s now buy the company’s games for their grandchildren!

The company has also collaborated with cultural organizations and non-profit organizations, such as the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research, the Grid and most recently with The Smile of the Child.

Today, in addition to its own toys, the company imports and distributes in Greece jigsaw puzzles from dynamic foreign companies such as D-Toys and Deico of Romania, Educa Borras of Spain and Maestro 3D Puzzle.

Even afrer more than 70 years in operation, the company continues to produce high-quality Greek boardgames. Some of its older products are now sold on eBay and even displayed in Toy Museums as they have become collectibles.
