Cris Ortega is a spanish digital artist and writer.
After studying in the Art School of Valladolid, she worked as Art Director on an advertising agency. At the same time she published her comics and artworks on several magazines and publishing houses.
Her first artbook with written stories “Forgotten” was published in 2005, had three volumes and was translated to several languages.
On 2016 she published her most recent project “The shadow of the red crow”, a grimdark fantasy novel divided in two volumes.
Her works have been published as book covers, puzzles and posters, videogames, on well known artbooks -like Exotique and Spectrum- in a lot of merchandising products and games and exposed in several exhibitions.
At the moment she works full time as a freelance artist.
